Swindon organisations can now get free cycle stands installed – with no cost for equipment, delivery, or installation.  

If you’re a business, charity, or community group in Swindon, this is your chance to add secure cycle parking and support more people to travel by bike.

What’s included?

Through the Take a Stand® programme, funded by Swindon Borough Council, eligible organisations can get:

  • Up to four Sheffield cycle stands  
  • Space for eight bikes  
  • Free delivery and professional installation  
  • Ongoing support from Life Cycle

Adding cycle parking helps your organisation:

  • Support staff and customer cycling  
  • Encourage sustainability and carbon reduction  
  • Remove barriers to active travel  

Many organisations want cycle parking but are put off by cost - this scheme removes that barrier completely.

Applications are open until all stands are allocated, and demand is expected to be high, so early applications are encouraged!
