Life Cycle Hub
From servicing and repairs, to quality, refurbished bikes. We keep Bristol moving!
Welcome to our Hub!
We’re the bike shop that gives back, combining quality workmanship with a mission to help others. As a charity and Cytech-accredited training centre, we use our skills to refurbish unwanted bikes, repair cycles of all kinds and provide industry-leading training for the community, and people in prisons.
Our services work together to achieve one goal: to transform lives through cycling.

Why Life Cycle?
At Life Cycle every bike has been on a journey, just like the people we support. Whether it’s learning to ride, fixing a bike, or building a career in the cycle industry, we're all about empowering people through cycling.
We can only transform thousands of lives each year with help from our amazing customers: Every time you use one of our services, you’re helping to make cycling accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you!

Quality assurance
Our expert mechanics follow professional industry standards, ensuring every bike meets the highest levels of safety and performance.
Social impact
Bikes Beyond Bars provides training and support to help prisoners give back to the community and reintegrate into society.
Sustainable communities
By refurbishing unwanted bikes, we give them a new lease of life, and help more people to access a healthy, sustainable way of travelling.
Bikes Beyond Bars
Our Bikes Beyond Bars project gives prisoners the tools to turn their lives around. We take donations of unwanted bikes and teach prisoners the skills to completely refurbish them, enabling them to earn an industry-recognised qualification.
Prisoners complete a Cytech course in a professional workshop environment, while refurbishing bikes for the community. The bikes are safety-checked by our qualified mechanics and sold at affordable prices, with additional subsidies for those most in need.
"I thought I knew everything about bikes, but I had a lot to learn. Although I don’t like being in prison it’s helped me get a qualification. I wouldn't have got that on the outside. This time in prison has made me grow up. I'm not coming back!"
